Update: Lidl GB recalls Starovice Czech Lager 5.0% because of undeclared sulphur dioxide

Why it was recalled

Lidl GB is extending the recall of Starovice Czech Lager 5.0% to include additional date codes because it contains sulphur dioxide which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.

What you should do

Action taken by the business

Lidl GB is recalling the above product from customers and been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
