Why it was recalled
Anglesey Foods Ltd is recalling various Jams, Chutneys and Pesto because barley (gluten) and/or sulphites are not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to barley or gluten, or with coeliac disease, and/or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites.

What you should do
If you have bought the any of the above products and have an allergy to barley (gluten) and/or sulphites, do not eat them. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
Action taken by the business
Anglesey Foods Ltd is recalling the above products from customers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notices to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
