Why it was recalled
Farmfoods is recalling its Chicken & Spinach Pasta because some packs may contain crustaceans, fish and molluscs, none of which is mentioned on the label. The likeliest explanation for three seafood allergens appearing in a chicken dish is a packing or production mix-up with a seafood product.
Seafood allergies are among the most severe, and nobody checking a chicken pasta label would think to look for prawns or mussels, which makes this mismatch genuinely dangerous.
