Keenan Seafood recalls various prepacked fish products because of multiple undeclared allergens
Why it was recalled
Keenan Seafood is recalling multiple prepacked fish products because some packs fail to declare a long list of allergens: barley, crustaceans, egg, fish, milk, mustard, soya and wheat. A labelling failure across this many allergens suggests packs left the site without proper allergen information at all.
Prepared fish products often contain coatings, sauces and seasonings built from exactly these ingredients, so the missing declarations expose people with many different allergies at once, including those with coeliac disease.
Allergens involved: Barley, Crustaceans, Egg, Fish, Gluten, Milk, Mustard, Soya, Wheat
