Morrisons recalls two Chinese Takeaway products because of undeclared milk

Why it was recalled

Morrisons is recalling its Chinese Takeaway Chicken Curry & Sweet & Sour Chicken and Chinese Takeaway Chicken in Black Bean Sauce & Sweet & Sour Chicken products because they contain milk which is not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

What you should do

If you have bought either of the affected products and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Action taken by the business

Morrisons is recalling the above products from customers and have contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
