Morrisons recalls Morrisons Coronation Chicken Pasta because of undeclared milk

Why it was recalled

Morrisons is recalling its Coronation Chicken Pasta because some packs may actually contain Florida Salad, a product with milk in it, and milk is not mentioned on the pasta's label. It is a packing mix-up: the wrong salad in the right pot.

For shoppers with a milk allergy or intolerance the risk is real, because nothing on the outside of the pack warns that the contents might differ from the label.

If you or anyone in your household reacts to milk, do not eat this product; open packs can be deceiving in a mix-up like this, so err on the side of caution. Morrisons is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.  The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
