Why it was recalled

English Heritage is recalling its Cherry Brandy, Ginger Liqueur, Elderberry & Port and Scrumpy Cider because they contain sulphites which are not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.

What you should do

If you have bought any of the above products and have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites do not drink them. Instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.

Action taken by the business

English Heritage is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued point-of-sale notices to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notices.
