Why it was recalled
Dunnes Stores is recalling their Luxury Apple Pie due to a packaging error. Some packs may contain Luxury Pear and Almond Pie which contains nuts (almonds), which are not mentioned on the label.

What you should do
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to nuts (almonds) do not eat it. Instead, return it to where it was purchased for a refund.
Action taken by the business
Dunnes Stores has recalled the product and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all stores that are selling this product. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
