Why it was recalled

Waitrose is recalling Waitrose Sweet Potato & Coconut Soup and Waitrose Roasted Tomato, Bean & Quinoa Soup because some of the pots have been filled with an incorrect product which contains soya that is not mentioned on the labels. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya.

What you should do

If you have bought either of the above products and have an allergy to soya do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Action taken by the business

Waitrose is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. This notice explains to customers why the products are being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought the products.
