Update 1: PUREPOWER Nutrition recalls Chicken & Chorizo Paella and Chicken Chow Mein because of undeclared milk

Why it was recalled

PUREPOWER Nutrition has updated its recall covering two of its ready meals. The Chicken & Chorizo Paella contains milk that is not declared on its label, and the Chicken Chow Mein is being recalled as a precaution because some packs were mixed up with the paella during packing.

For anyone with a milk allergy or intolerance the pairing is treacherous: either meal could turn out to be the paella, and the labels cannot be relied on to say so.

If you use these fitness-focused ready meals and anyone eating them reacts to milk, do not eat either product; with a mispack, the label on the sleeve is not proof of what is inside.
