Ultralife recalls various Detox Drinks and Food Supplements due to undeclared allergens

Why it was recalled

Ultralife is recalling five varieties of their food supplement products because they contain Wheat (gluten), Milk, Nuts, Eggs and Soya that are not declared on the label. Different products contain different allergens.

A list of affected products, the undeclared allergen(s) and the possible health risk is included below.

What you should do

If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy or intolerance to the following then do not eat them: wheat or gluten and/or an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and/or an allergy or intolerance to eggs and/or an allergy to nuts and/or an allergy to soya. Instead return the product(s) to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.

Action taken by the business

Ultralife is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. Point- of-sale notices will be displayed on all websites and in all stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
