Why it was recalled
Three Tuns Brewery is recalling various of its beers because they contain wheat and barley, sources of gluten, that are not declared on the labels. Beer is of course brewed from grain, but the law still requires gluten-containing cereals to be named on the label, precisely so coeliac and gluten-intolerant drinkers can make informed choices.
Small-brewery bottles and cans often circulate through farm shops, markets and taprooms, so affected stock may be spread well beyond any single shop.
