THIS™ recalls THIS™ Isn’t Chicken Deli Pieces because of undeclared soya and wheat (gluten)

Why it was recalled

THIS™ is recalling its Isn't Chicken Deli Pieces because the product contains soya and wheat that are not declared on the label. Plant-based meat alternatives are typically built on soya and wheat proteins, but each must still be declared, and for this product they were not.

The gap matters because meat-free products attract shoppers managing allergies and intolerances, including people with coeliac disease, who may reasonably assume a careful brand has the labelling right.

Allergens involved: Gluten, Soya, Wheat
