Saffron Pastries recalls various Saffron Pastries products because of potential rodent contamination

Why it was recalled

Saffron Pastries is recalling a range of its own-brand products because of potential rodent contamination. Food that may have been exposed to rodents is treated as unsafe to eat outright: rodents can carry bacteria that contaminate food and surfaces without leaving any visible trace.

Because the problem lies at the production site rather than with one batch, the recall covers multiple products, and the safest assumption is that any affected item should not be eaten.
