PUREPOWER Nutrition recalls Chicken & Chorizo Paella and Chicken Chow Mein because of undeclared milk
Why it was recalled
PUREPOWER Nutrition is recalling two ready meals after a packing mix-up. Some Chicken & Chorizo Paella packs contain milk that is not mentioned on the label, and the Chicken Chow Mein is included as a precaution because packs of the two meals were swapped during production.
Meal-prep style products are often eaten daily by regular customers, so a labelling failure here can expose the same allergic person repeatedly rather than once.
