Loudwater Trade & Finance Ltd is recalling Millennium Peanuts Caramel Milk Chocolate because allergens are not declared in English on the label
Why it was recalled
Loudwater Trade & Finance is recalling Millennium Peanuts Caramel Milk Chocolate, sold at Home Bargains and B&M, because the packs on sale carry no English-language allergen labelling. The bar contains milk, peanuts and soya, and may contain almonds, cashews, hazelnuts and gluten-containing cereals, none of which is declared in English.
Imported confectionery must carry UK-compliant labels; without one, a shopper with any of several common allergies has no way to know this chocolate is unsafe for them. Only packs without English ingredients are affected.
Allergens involved: Almond, Cashew, Gluten, Hazelnut, Milk, Nuts, Peanuts, Soya
