Illva Saronno S.p.A recalls Disaronno Originale because of the possible presence of glass
Why it was recalled
Illva Saronno is recalling Disaronno Originale because small pieces of glass may be present inside some bottles, making the liqueur unsafe to drink. Glass fragments in a dark amber drink are effectively invisible, so no amount of care when pouring makes an affected bottle safe.
