Good4U recalls Super Sprouts Super Greens due to possible presence of Salmonella
Why it was recalled
Good4U is recalling its Super Sprouts Super Greens because Salmonella may be present. Raw sprouted seeds are a known higher-risk food for bacteria like salmonella, because they are grown in warm, moist conditions and usually eaten raw.
Salmonella infection typically causes fever, diarrhoea and stomach cramps. Most people recover within days, but it spreads easily between people, so anyone with symptoms should stay off work, school or nursery until 48 hours after symptoms stop.
