Candyco recalls various Monarch Confectionary products because of incorrect allergen labelling
Why it was recalled
Candyco recalls Monarch Confectionary chocolate satins (boiled sweets) and three flavours of Monarch Confectionary macaroon bars, because they contain milk, which is not correctly declared on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

What you should do
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
Action taken by the business
Candyco is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. This notice explains to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notice.
